Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Board has approved the 2018 property tax levy to fund the Housing and Redevelopment Authority budget.

The levy of $1.75 million is $400,000 higher than the current amount.

HRA staff says the extra money will be used to cover operational losses from anticipated federal budget cuts and increases in staff costs. The rest of the money will be used for housing development and rehabilitation, homeless prevention and operational and administrative costs.
