Nolasco and the Twins Will Try and Keep the ‘Mo’
Game Two: Twins Host Cleveland
Minneapolis, MN (Learfield) -- Minnesota Twins are home again tonight, part of a six-game homestand.
They're hoping to keep momentum from last night's walk-off winner from Oswaldo Arcia. The homer beat Cleveland, 4-3.
The Twins will send Ricky Nolasco to the mound tonight. The right-hander has been the team's most consistent starter so far this year, sitting at 1-and-0 with a 2.68 earned run average.
Cleveland will counter with Cody Anderson, who is 0-and-1 with a 7.53 E-R-A. Indians star Michael Brantley was activated from the disabled list last night, went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter, and will make his first start of the season tonight.
First pitch is set for 7:10 P-M, our pre-game show begins at 6:30 on 1340 KROC AM.
Thibadeau To Throw Out First Pitch
Minneapolis, MN (Learfield) -- New Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibadeau will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at tonight's Twins-Indians game at Target Field. Thibadeau was hired last week as head coach and president of basketball operations for Minnesota.
