ST. LOUIS (AP) — Nino Niederreiter and Kyle Brodziak scored just 17 seconds apart late in the third period Saturday night, giving the Minnesota Wild a 3-1 win over the St. Louis Blues.

Devan Dubnyk made 40 saves for the Wild (38-24-7), who had lost two of three following a stretch of five straight wins and eight of nine. They are even better on the road, having won seven in a row and are 11-1-2 in their past 14 games away from Minnesota.

The Blues (43-20-5) had won three straight. St. Louis had won 10 of its last 11 games against Minnesota, including five straight at Scottrade Center.

Niederreiter gave the Wild the lead at the 13:27 of the third period when he poked a loose puck past Blues goalie Brian Elliott for his 22nd of the season, assisted by Mikko Koivu and Jared Spurgeon.
