Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  - A man from southwest Minnesota spent the weekend in St. Mary’s after he was hurt in a traffic wreck north of Rochester Friday.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department says 60 year old Douglas Barnett of Dunnell, Minnesota was driving a motorcycle on North Broadway when a pickup truck in front of him pulled over and then made a sudden U-turn. Barnett laid the motorcycle down and ended up wedged under the truck. A tow truck had to be called to the scene to lift the truck so paramedics could free Barnett. He was reported in good condition this morning.

The driver of the truck - 21 year old Daijoun Johnson of Rochester - was ticketed for making an illegal turn and driving with a revoked license. The wreck happened around 11 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Broadway and Ridge Drive NE.
