Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker and his wife, Carly have committed $160,000 to kick off fundraising for the Zucker Family Suite and Broadcast Studio at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, a nearly 800-square-foot space for patients, families and friends to feel like they are escaping the hospital. The project will be funded by donations made to Zuckers' season-long #Give16 campaign.

Students at Dover-Eyota rallied to help one of their classmates raise money to help construct this special space in the hospital. 2nd-grader Maggie McLaughlin organized the local fundraising efforts which included selling raffle tickets for signed Wild merchandise.

The kids were very successful. They raised over $1,800.

Props to these kids for helping out!
