Minnesota frequently is at the top of the list in rankings for a number of things. In yet another recent study done by Wallethub, Minnesota was ranked as one of the top states for millennials. Many people seem uncertain about what age group exactly falls under the label of millennial. According the the Pew Research Center, "those born after 1980 and the first generation to come of age in the new millennium."

Using factors including quality of life, affordability, education and health, economic health, and civic engagement, the 50 states and the District of Columbia were scored and then ranked based on the findings. When the numbers came in, Minnesota was ranked as the second-best place in the United Stated of America for millennials. The top spot, beating us out by 9.77 points, went to North Dakota. In fact, the entire upper Midwest did very well. South Dakota snagged the No. 3 ranking, Iowa took fourth, and Wisconsin trailed just a bit at No. 8. The only location to crack the top five that was not an upper Midwest state was the District of Columbia, coming in at No. 5. It's also interesting to note that the state with the highest millennial homeownership rate was Minnesota. Check out the full report here.
