Minneapolis, MN (KROC AM News) -  A Minnesota National Guard soldier has been indicted on a federal child pornography charge.

The Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office says 28-year-old Andrew Schiller of Lakeville faces one count of production of child pornography. He is accused of convincing a 14-year-old Minnesota girl to transmit at least one sexually explicit photo of herself to Schiller while he was deployed in Afghanistan from September 2013 through January 2014. Federal prosecutors allege the soldier communicated with the teenage girl using Skype.

Court documents also allege Schiller contacted other underage girls through a variety of internet services with requests for sexually explicit photos and videos. It also alleged he sent them sexually explicit images of himself and offered them money and alcohol if they filled his requests.
