This is the second straight year Minnesota drivers earned the top spot.

The website came up with its rankings by compiling the number of fatalities in traffic accidents where at least one of the drivers involved had been speeding, drunk or driving carelessly.

Also considered were fatal crashes where a traffic signal was disobeyed, where people weren't wearing a seat belt, or were driving without a valid license.  The worst state was Montana.
