MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A second woman has died after a house fire in north Minneapolis last week.

The Minneapolis Fire Department says a 78-year-old woman who was brought to a hospital in critical condition on the night of the fire died Sunday.

A 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the early Wednesday fire.

Names of the victims have not been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

So far three people have died in fires in Minneapolis this year.
