Official Bio:
Kenneth was raised in House District 25B. He attended Harriet Bishop Elementary, Kellogg Junior High and then John Marshall High School. He was elected to the student government at John Marshall and thus instilled his first interest in politics. His wife, Melissa, was also raised in Rochester. They met at Harriet Bishop Elementary and she also attended John Marshall High School. Melissa attended college for architecture. They were married at the Plummer House in 2003. Melissa currently enjoys working at Mayo Clinic.
Kenneth attended Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps in St. Paul and then the Brown Institute of Technology for Advertising Design. He received his real estate license from the Minnesota Department of Commerce in 2002. He then attended the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, studying in the Commercial Real Estate Specialist Program and graduated in 2006. He also received an extended mini-MBA in real estate development. In 2014, he earned a graduate certificate in Economic Development from Hamline University - Center for Public Administration at the College of Business.
Kenneth is a real estate professional and has been in business for 20 years. He is the owner of Bush Companies, a community and economic development firm and a Realtor with offices located in North Rochester.
Kenneth has served on several local, regional and national organizations including: The current Olmsted County Planning Board of Commissioners as Vice Chairman of the Board, Olmsted County Zoning Board of Adjustment, Rochester Area Builders - Governmental Affairs, Rochester Area Foundation Affordable Housing Steering Committee, Southeastern Minnesota Association of Realtors Governmental Affairs, Board Member Bolder Options, Destination Medical Center (DMC) Certified Tourism Ambassador, Rochester Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs, Minnesota Complete Streets Coalition, Habitat For Humanity Public Relations Chair, Mayors Blue Ribbon Commission on Economic Development, 2020 Community Development Board, HRA Commissioner, Harvard Business Review, Convention of States, Republican Leadership Initiative Fellow - Republican National Committee, Olmsted County Republicans.
Kenneth and Melissa currently live in Northeast Rochester. They are involved in their church and community. In their spare time, they enjoy anything related to the outdoors of our great state of Minnesota.

In our communities, families know the importance of spending wisely and balancing budgets. Our State government should respect the taxpayer and fund the programs that work and eliminate the ones that don't. In asking hard-working Minnesotans to pay for essential services and programs, the state has a responsibility to ensure that taxpayers are getting value in exchange for their money. I will work to bring efficiency and effectiveness to government and eliminate wasteful spending. If given the honor to be elected I will work for you and only you!

What’s one thing you want the Rochester community to know about you?
I care about my hometown of Rochester and all of the great people who make us the greatest City. As your representative what I bring to the table is the ability to build bridges, not barriers. It's my priority to bring the real issues from the engine of the people to the capital and on behalf of you. I Will fight for what is right based on constituent suggestion and consensus.
