Official Bio:
Jamie Mahlberg grew up in a blue-collar union family in Dubuque, Iowa. She worked to support herself through college, and with the help of financial aid, became the first member of her family to earn a bachelor’s degree. She later earned a master’s degree in psychology, began teaching at Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) in 2007, and completed a doctorate degree from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2013.
Jamie met her husband Ryan in 2008 when he was living near his family farm in Worthington, Minnesota. They married in 2010 and have added two dogs and two cats to their family.
