Official Bio:

Duane Sauke has lived in Rochester for almost 30 years. He and his wife raised two beautiful daughters in southeast Minnesota, and they now enjoy six wonderful grandchildren.

His work and life experiences have prepared Duane for public service — from working on his parents’ farm as a child to serving in the National Guard and from teaching in public schools and to working in real estate sales and brokerage. He owned a local business in Rochester and was chair of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. He was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2016 and looks forward to continuing to represent District 25B, offering an inclusive voice for all neighbors.

What’s one thing you want the Rochester community to know about you?

In the state capitol representing House District 25B, Duane works from the position that Minnesotans deserve civility in public discourse. To continue moving forward, he takes into account all points of view and listens to many voices, reaching out across potential divides to constructively address critical issues.
