Michael David Henderson fled Thursday afternoon just as the verdict was read convicting him of attempted murder. One deputy was hurt in the ensuing scuffle. Authorities say Henderson fled down a stairwell and disappeared from the Hennepin County Government Center. He had not been handcuffed or shackled in court.

The Hennepin County sheriff's office says Minneapolis police officers arrested Henderson without incident around 7 a.m. Friday in south Minneapolis. It says a tip helped lead to his arrest.

The 25-year-old Richfield man was found guilty of robbing a Sam's Club in Bloomington last March and pointing a pistol at employees. Authorities say he also tried to carjack a number of vehicles at gunpoint during that incident.
