EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a man who was fatally shot by a security guard in a Twin Cities suburb worked for the same security company.

Twenty-five-year-old Davon Wiley was fatally shot in the parking lot of a warehouse in Eagan early Monday.

Security guard Young Vang told police he was attacked by a gunman who was wearing a ski mask. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates Vang was acting in self-defense. Vang suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say both Vang and Wiley worked for Mill City Protective Agency. Wiley was not on duty at the time of the shooting. Police say they're still investigating what happened.
