Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  - Rochester police arrested a 64-year-old man Tuesday evening after he allegedly threatened another man with a knife.

Police Captain John Sherwin says the incident occurred around 7 PM near the intersection of 1st Avenue Northeast and East Center Street. Sherwin says Eddie Huggard spotted a man riding a bike that he believed had been stolen from a friend earlier this week, and confronted the 49-year-old bicyclist. At some point, Huggard allegedly pulled out a knife and allegedly threatened to slash the other man’s throat.

Huggard is expected to be charged with felony terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

Sherwin says the responding officers were not able resolve the question of the bicycle’s ownership.
