Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Rochester police say foul play is not suspected in the discovery of a man who was found on the ground Wednesday night in an area behind the Cub Foods store.

Paramedics found the man without a pulse and although he was revived, it appears his chances of survival aren’t good. At last check, he was in critical condition at St Marys Hospital.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says officers called to the scene around 8:00 PM were told the man had been drinking all day.  There was also evidence of drug use, pointing to a possible overdose. Sherwin only identified the man as a Somali.

The woman who called 911 also told police she saw four men going through the man’s pockets while he was down, apparently looking for money.
