WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (AP) — Police checking on the welfare of a family in White Bear Lake discovered the bodies of a woman and her adult son and arrested the son's twin brother on possible charges of financially exploiting a vulnerable adult.

The 59-year-old brother was in the home all three shared when police arrived Tuesday afternoon. A neighbor called officers to the home after the three were not seen for a period of time. Police haven't said when or how the 93-year-old woman and her son died, but that they appeared to have been dead for a while.

Neighbors tell the Star Tribune the twin sons moved into the home after their father died of cancer several years ago.
