Man Detained In Discovery Of Woman’s Decomposing Body

Forest Lake, MN (MNN)  --  Forest Lake police say they have detained a man in his 30s after finding a woman's body in the apartment where he was living.

Officers were called to that apartment building Friday night when they were asked to check out a report of a foul odor coming from the location.  That's when they found the woman's decomposing body.  She also appeared to be in her 30s.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy.  The woman hasn't been identified and the man's name wasn't released.
