Bloomington, MN (Learfield Wire Services) - A 31-year-old man plowing a parking lot in Bloomington with a five-year-old on his lap was arrested late Friday night on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Robert James Stertz of Eagan was arrested on suspicion of first-degree DWI. Authorities say the first-degree citation was due to his record of three previous convictions for driving while intoxicated.

A witness told police a man entered a Bobby and Steve's Auto World nearby and appeared intoxicated. The witness said the man got into a front-end loader, put the child on his lap and resumed plowing a shopping center parking lot.
