SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Maya Moore scored 10 of her 18 points during a 19-0 run in the third quarter when the Minnesota Lynx outscored the San Antonio Stars 25-9 en route to a 78-61 victory Friday night.

Moore hit 4 of 6 3-pointers and also had seven assists and six rebounds to help the Lynx (19-8) end a two-game skid. Sylvia Fowles had 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Lindsay Whalen had 12 points and 10 assists.

Anna Cruz, replacing injured Seimone Augustus, had 14 points, and Rebekkah Brunson had 11 rebounds and nine points.

Kayla McBride's jumper in the opening seconds of the third quarter gave San Antonio (7-20) a 40-37 lead. Moore scored to start the game-changing run and capped it with a second 3-pointer at 3:43 for a 56-40 lead.

Jia Perkins led San Antonio, which lost its fourth straight, with 16 points, and McBride had 13.
