Minneapolis, MN (MNN/Learfield sports) -- Led by Maya Moore's game-high 27 points, the Minnesota Lynx raced past the Los Angeles Sparks 82-76 on Wednesday night, improving to a league-best 13-4 on the season.

Lindsay Whalen returned after missing last week's game due to an eye injury, and scored 24 points. And in her Lynx debut, center Sylvia Fowles scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes of action.

Los Angeles got 12 points, seven rebounds and nine assists from former MVP Candace Parker, who played her first game of the season after sitting out to rest.

Lynx are back at Target Center on Friday when they host Atlanta at 7 p-m.
