Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester-area electric utility is reporting an unusual theft case.

The theft of some electric transmission cable was reported by People’s Energy Cooperative last week.

It happened sometime between July 11 and July 23rd at a rural work site in the 9,000 block of County Rd 10 SE. The thief or thieves removed two 50-foot sections of an underground transmission line that was being installed beneath the roadway.
