MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The activities director and dance team coaches at Lakeville South High School have been disciplined over a public protest at the state dance tournament.

Lakeville South was one of five high schools to make a public snub of Faribault's championship routine in February over questions of originality.

Six coaches and the activities director at Lakeville were given written reprimands following an investigation by a Minneapolis law firm. The Lakeville district issued a statement saying the reprimands were necessary to make clear expectations of sportsmanship and professionalism.

Wayzata also reprimanded its dance coach after getting the law firm's report. The Star Tribune reports Eden Prairie and Eastview have also gotten the report but haven't yet acted on it.

The fifth school, Chaska, is working on its own investigation.
