Zorba's Greek Restaurant. It opened in the 1980's, closed in 2014 and has been empty ever since. In January I wrote a blog about how it was GOING to be demolished (read it here). It took a while for that to come true, and now that it has, I agree with local Jazz Superstar, John Sievers. I'm going to miss the dancing men on the A's of the A Frame.

Back in January, the demo was permitted to Widseth Smith Nolting, an engineering, environmental firm. They thought it'd be gone by spring, but things happen, you know?

I'm gonna be honest, I loved the building, but I didn't really much like the restaurant. The gyros and baklava were good, but everything else was just OK. We didn't have many options back then, so we all went anyway.

Thank you to John Sievers for sharing this sad photo.
