The latest Case-Shiller snapshot of home prices around the country shows a continued slowdown in the rate of increase.

The report was based on July’s numbers and shows 19 of the 20 cities saw lower annual returns that month.  And 17 of the 20 had smaller increases in July when compared to June.

The monthly increase in Minneapolis was .6 percent, which was a tenth of a point lower than what was reported in June.  The year-over-year increase was 5.4 percent.  Only 5 other cities had a lower increase than Minneapolis.
