Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office began receiving numerous 911 calls Sunday night from motorists who reported an erratic driver on Highway 14.

A deputy spotted the vehicle about 2 miles west of Eyota and tried to make a stop but the driver kept going. The deputy confirmed the woman driving the car was weaving “all over the road” and crossed the centerline several times, nearly colliding with oncoming traffic.

She eventually did collide head-on with a vehicle near the Highway 14/42 roundabout in Eyota.

A 19-year-old Rochester woman was driving the other car and suffered minor injuries. The woman driving the car that caused the crash is a 55-year-old from Michigan who wasn’t drunk but suffering from an unknown medical problem. She was taken to St. Marys Hospital.
