Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day!

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede has declared Friday Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Some local native Americans recently asked Brede to officially recognize the day on the traditional Columbus Day observance but he decided to designate the day after Thanksgiving, which is a city holiday.
