BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — Two boys have been found safe after they were reported missing in northern Minnesota.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office says volunteer searchers found the boys Sunday morning.

Authorities say the two boys, an 8-year-old and his 7-year-old cousin, were riding a four-wheeler Saturday afternoon when they disappeared.

Crews, friends and relatives spent hours searching for the boys. The boys' all-terrain vehicle was found caught in barbed wire in an old fence line in the woods. The boys were found around 10:30 a.m. Sunday in a hunter's cabin about seven miles from where they went missing. Authorities say the boys had sought shelter in the cabin from the cold during the night.
