Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  An area man who was involved in a crime spree last year entered guilty pleas in Olmsted County court Tuesday to six criminal charges.

Six others were dismissed as part of the plea deal involving 31 year old Manuel Ramirez.The Wanamingo man will be sentenced at a later date.

The incident began in Oronoco on June 9th when he stole a vehicle, crashed it and then stole a pickup and led officers on a chase. He crashed that vehicle and made his way to Mazeppa where he stole another pickup truck and drove to Nelson, Wisconsin where he ran out of gas. He then stole yet another vehicle and drove back to Minnesota where he once again ran out of gas in the Goodhue area. The daylong crime spree ended a short while later when he was apprehended.

Ramirez earlier pled guilty to charges in Wabasha County and was sentenced to a year in jail and 10 years probation.
