Rochester, MN, MN (KROC AM News) - A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered in the case of a 21-year-old Rochester man who has entered a guilty plea to a second-degree burglary charge.

Ramiz Hamzagic was arrested in December on charges stemming from an assault at an apartment complex in Northeast Rochester. Police say Hamzagic was with another man when they forced their way into a 22-year-old man’s apartment.

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury when he was struck on the head with a wrench. He also told police the intruders threatened to shoot out his apartment before he was assaulted.

The incident followed an earlier argument between the victim and the 2nd intruder.

Hamzagic is scheduled to be sentenced on April 18th.
