Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - There’s been another shakeup in management at the Rochester Civic Theatre.

A news release issued by the organization on Monday says longtime Artistic Director Greg Miller is no longer a member of the Rochester Civic Theatre staff. Miller has been with the theatre for 27 years and his departure follows the recent resignation of Executive Director Gregory Stavrou.

The news release indicates the Artistic Director position, as it currently exists, is being eliminated. It is being converted into a contract position. Heather Holmes, the chair of the organization’s Board of Directors, says the move will allow more flexibility to invite guest Directors to the Theatre.

“By inviting guest directors from Rochester and beyond, we truly hope to show the Civic is inclusive and welcoming of all talent, ideas and creativity,” says Holmes.

The news release also says the Board of Directors will begin organizing the search for a new Executive Director during June.
