Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The adult suspect arrested following an apparently gang-related assault at a graduation party in Rochester last weekend has been arraigned in Olmsted County Court on a list of charges that includes first-degree assault.

Conditional bail for 18-year-old Fawaz Mohamed Abukar was set at $150,000.

He, along with two juveniles, were arrested after a 14-year-old boy was badly beaten during an altercation that occurred while the victim was attending his half brother’s graduation party Saturday afternoon at a residence in the 300 block of 4th Avenue Northwest. The attack left the victim with facial injuries, including a possible fracture.

At last report, police were still looking for a second adult suspect in the case.
