TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Jonathan Isaac got his second double-double of the season and Dwayne Bacon scored 18 points as Florida State defeated Minnesota 75-67 on Monday in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The Seminoles shot just 34.6 percent from the field in the first half and trailed 33-31 at halftime. They opened the second half by making six of their first eight as part of a 15-5 run over the first five minutes to give them the lead for good. Bacon, who scored 14 points in the second half, had seven points during the run. FSU was 14 of 28 from the field and led by as many as 19 in the second half.

Michael Ojo added 12 points as the Seminoles (6-1) had a 40-18 advantage in points in the paint.

Akeem Springs and Nate Mason led the Golden Gophers (6-1) with 11 points.

Minnesota: The Gophers were seeking their first 7-0 start since 2008-09 but got worn down by Florida State's size along with getting into foul trouble. They also saw their five-game winning streak in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge come to an end.
