Minneapolis (Gophersports.com) -The No. 2 Golden Gopher women's hockey team completed a WCHA sweep over Bemidji State with a 4-1 win Sunday afternoon.

Minnesota (13-1-2, 11-1-2-2 WCHA) was led by Kelly Pannek and Dani Cameranesi for the second-straight game after the duo combined for six points in the Gophers' 4-0 win in game one with the Beavers.

Bemidji State (5-10-1, 3-10-1-0 WCHA) spoiled the Gophers' shutout attempt with a goal by Madison Hutchinson with 7:44 remaining in the second period.

Minnesota wraps up the first half of the season with a pair of road trips, beginning with this year's first Border Battle series on the road in Madison, Wis., next weekend. The No. 2 Gophers face off against the top-ranked Badgers at 3:30 p.m. CT Saturday, Dec. 3 and 2 p.m. CT Sunday, Dec. 4.
