(Gophersports.com) University of Minnesota senior forward Shae Kelley was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll Tuesday after leading the Gophers to a win at North Dakota last week with a career-high 24 points and nine rebounds.

Kelley shot .632 from the floor, connecting on 12 of her 19 attempts, while also grabbing four offensive boards and three steals in 29 minutes of work. The senior scored 18 of her career-high points in the second half.

Nebraska’s Emily Cady was named the Big Ten Player of the Week, with Maryland’s Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Ohio State’s Ameryst Alston joining Kelley on the honor roll. Ohio State’s Alexa Hart earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.

The Maroon and Gold host Liberty, Central Michigan and No. 1/1 South Carolina for the Subway Classic this weekend at Williams Arena. Minnesota will face Liberty Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and Central Michigan Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
