Gopher’s King Out With Foot Injury
Piscataway, NJ (Learfield) -- The Golden Gopher men's basketball team wraps up the regular season tomorrow at Rutgers and will be even more short-handed than previously believed.
Senior Joey King of Eagan will miss the game with a foot injury. He suffered the injury late in Wednesday's 62-49 loss at home to Wisconsin. Minnesota is already without guards Nate Mason, Dupree McBrayer, and Kevin Dorsey, who have been suspended for the remainder of the season.
The Gophers slipped to 8-and-21 on the season and 2-and-15 in the Big Ten with Wednesday's 62-49 home loss to Wisconsin. The team travels to New Jersey today. Tomorrow's coverage begins at 11:30 a.m. with the tipoff at noon on 1340 KROC AM.
