MINNEAPOLIS – The No. 3 Golden Gopher women's hockey team earned a non-conference series sweep over Yale University with a 4-1 win Saturday night at Ridder Arena.
Lee Stecklein and Hannah Brandt led Minnesota with three points each on one goal and two assists, andSidney Peters made 14 saves in her third win of the season.

Along with multi-point efforts from Brandt and Stecklein, Milica McMillen, Sydney Baldwin, Dani Cameranesi, Sarah Potomak, and Kelly Pannek also had points on the night. McMillen and Baldwin scored a goal apiece, while Cameranesi tallied two assists. Pannek and Potomak both had single assists.

Minnesota heads to Mankato, Minn., for a WCHA match-up against the Minnesota State Mavericks next weekend. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday afternoons.
