Rochester voters will be going to the polls next month to elect the city’s first new Mayor in 16 years. Mayor Ardell Brede announced earlier this year he would not be running for re-election, which produced a large field of candidate that was narrowed to just two in the August primary election. Kim Norton and Charlie O’Connell are now to face-off in the November 6th general election.

Both candidates recently made separate appearances during the Rochester Today Show with Andy Brownell and James Rabe on News-Talk 1340 KROC-AM. Norton and O’Connell provided information on their backgrounds and qualifications to serve as Mayor, along with their views some of the main challenges and issues facing the community.
