Foster Arend Beach Opens Saturday For 2015 Summer
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) The Rochester Park Department is planning to open its popular Foster Arend Beach for the summer Saturday.
The beach will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on weekends and noon - 8 p.m. during the week. The beach will be open through Labor Day.There is no admission charge.
A reminder - there are no lifeguards at the beach and the Park Department says the no swimming zone will be enforced again this summer.
Notice from the Park Department:
The following regulations will be enforced at Foster-Arend this swimming season: No swimming outside designated swimming area. No alcoholic beverages allowed in the entire park. No smoking in beach area. No glass containers in beach area. No dogs in beach area. Park will close at 9:00 p.m. nightly and the parking lot gates locked.
The park is located near the RPU site along East River Road NE.
