Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The damage from a residential fire in northwest Rochester has been estimated at $100,000. Rochester Fire Department Battalion Chief Eric Kerska says fire crews responded to a two-story house at 2392 Crimson Ridge Circle Northwest at 6:22 p.m. after the homeowner returned home to find the house on fire.

The firefighters found the front porch and a front room in the house fully engulfed in flames. They were able to contain the fire to those areas, but the rest of the residence sustained significant structural and smoke damage.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
