Spring Valley, MN (KROC AM News) - Did this guy WANT to be caught?

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office tried to apprehend 34-year-old Steven Holm at a rural home near Spring Valley Wednesday but despite the efforts of numerous law enforcement officers from several agencies - including a helicopter and dogs - he was nowhere to be found.

But on Thursday, the sheriff’s office received a tip that Holm had surfaced - at the Spring Valley Public Library. Sure enough, deputies went there and found him on a public computer reading a story on the KTTC TV website about the Wednesday search.

Holm was wanted on burglary, drug and other charges in Fillmore and Mower counties. A search of the home the officers went to turned up some stolen property and illegal drugs.
