Fatal Jet Ski Accident Kills Twin Cities Man

BRAINERD, Minn. (AP) — A man has died in  a jet ski accident on a Crow Wing County lake.

Sheriff's officials say a 21-year-old Eagan man was operating a personal watercraft on Rush Lake Wednesday when he went into the water. Authorities haven't said what caused the accident. Witnesses brought the man to shore where attempts were made to resuscitate him.

He was taken by ambulance to an air transport zone nearby, but was pronounced dead.

The victim's identity has not been released.
