Faribault, MN (KROC-AM News)  -  One man died and two others were hurt when a boom at a construction site came into contact with a power line in Faribault on Friday.

A statement issued by the Faribault Police Department says two of the men were in cardiac arrest when first responders arrived at the scene, while the third victim was conscious. 42-year-old Eric Hunter of Waterville was pronounced dead at Allina District One Hospital in Faribault, while 36-year-old Eric Hunter of Warsaw was transported to a Twin Cities Hospital in critical condition. The third victim suffered minor injuries.

The three men were working for Waterville construction company and were installing gutters on a building when the deadly incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Minnesota OSHA office is investigating.
