Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating a deadly car-bike collision that occurred early Sunday morning in Minneapolis.

The Patrol's preliminary report says a 21-year-old Alexandria man was killed when the bike he was riding was struck by a car around 3 a.m. The man was riding the bike in one of the traffic lanes on I-94 when he was hit by the southbound car. His name has not been released.

The 25-year-old Richfield woman driving the car, and her 23-year-old passenger were not hurt. The State Patrol report indicates alcohol was detected in the driver, but does not indicate if alcohol contributed to the fatality.

Duluth, MN (KROC-AM News) - The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department responded to a fall all-terrain vehicle crash early Sunday and officials say investigators believe alcohol and speed were contributing factors.

A spokesman says a 32-year-old Duluth man suffered fatal injuries when the four-wheeler he was riding rolled over into a ditch and he became pinned beneath the ATV. His name has not been released.

The deadly crash occurred along road next to Comstock Lake, which is about 25 miles north of Duluth.
