Eyota Area Farmer Reports Theft of Corn Seed
Eyota, MN (KROC AM News) - A farmer in the Eyota area is reporting the theft of a significant amount of corn seed.
The farmer reported the loss of 33 bags of the DeKalb brand seed Tuesday. He told Olmsted County investigators the bags disappeared from his farm sometime between Saturday evening and Tuesday morning when the loss was discovered. He put the loss at $12,600.
The farm is located in the 1600 block of 140th Avenue S.E.
