The Rochester '76 Lions Club was chartered in December of 1975. We are a club of about 25 active members that have a special interest in service. The Rochester '76 Lions club is a part of Lions Clubs International. Lions is a service organization that has Preservation of Sight and Preservation of Hearing as major national service goals.  Formed in 1917, Lions were challenged by Helen Keller to be "...Knights of the Blind..."  Since that time, Lions have recognized that diabetes is a major cause of blindness in the world, and has added Diabetes Education and Research as national projects.
