St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM) - The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has confirmed another Emerald Ash Borer infestation.

Evidence of the infestation was recently found in east-central Minnesota near the Chisago and Washington County border. Both counties are expected to be put under a quarantine that restricts the movement of ash trees, firewood and products made of ash wood.

8 Minnesota counties are currently under an EAB quarantine, including Olmsted County, where an emerald ash borer infestation was discovered last March. Fillmore, Winona and Houston counties also have EAB infestations.
