Dover, MN (KROC AM News) - A rural Dover man reportedly suffered frostbite to his fingers and toes after being involved in a traffic wreck over the weekend.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office was contacted around 8:00 AM Sunday about the wreck that happened northwest of Dover.

Investigators determined 44-year-old Andrew O’Neill was southbound on County Road 7 and failed to stop at the T-intersection at County Road 9. His vehicle ended up near some trees about 80 feet from the road and it appears O’Neill was knocked out for an unknown period of time.

He was outside his vehicle when deputies arrived and taken to St. Marys Hospital.

O’Neill told deputies he had no recollection of the accident and wasn't sure when it happened. There was no evidence that alcohol was involved.

Temperatures early Sunday were around 10 degrees.

O’Neill was listed in fair condition Monday morning.
