Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Sunday is graduation day for the Class of 2016 at University of Minnesota-Rochester.

UMR’s fourth graduating class includes 109 students who will receive BS degrees in Health Professions and Health Science. Ten others will receive their master's degree in Biomedical Informatics and Computational Biology

The commencement ceremony will be held at the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium and is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.  

The scheduled speakers are Andy Petzold (Assistant Professor of Biology) and UMR graduates Brandi Otto and Eric Mehlhaff. The grand marshall will be Pete Giesen (director of Olmsted County Public Health). UMR says Board of Regents member Abdul M. Omari will attend.
