Fort Collins, CO (Learfield sports) -- Minnesota Gophers head coach Jerry Kill and his offensive coordinator have ambitious goals.

Starting tonight and extending through the rest of the 2015 season, they want the Gophers to average 31 points and 400 total yards-a-game. The team's offensive output has increased each of Kill's four years with the program.

Last year, Minnesota averaged 28 points and 357 yards-a-game. It starts this afternoon against Colorado State. Kill and offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover have been together for 16 years. With a stretch of games against the Rams, Kent State and Ohio, they should have a chance to build some momentum.
